Situated in the Courtyard Bar area The Mean Fiddler Hotel proudly boasts the largest outdoor television screen in any Hotel in Australia. It has dramatically changed this area of the Hotel as it replaces the previous projector with the best picture quality ever seen.

Custom built over 9 square metres this LED Screen is specificity designed to provide The Mean Fiddler patrons with the clearest, sharpest and largest outdoor television picture available anywhere in the world; comments to date include – Unbelievable, Huge, Awesome are just some of the adjectives spoken by customers when first viewed.

LED Screen technology allows for a quality picture to be telecast outside even in direct sunlight. This screen manufactured by LED Industries, Brookvale uses a LED P10 (10mm) Dot Pitch Screen, comprising 9 panels, each 1280mm wide x 960mm High, creating a screen over 11 square metres. The screen has over 331,776 individual LED’s in the display, all of which are hand made in comparison to other technologies such as LCD and Plasma screens.

LED is not only better for the environment with its lower power consumption and performance but is remarkably better in outdoor applications especially in bright sunlight.

Installed by Total Concept Projects (TCP) over a four day period the screen has transformed the Courtyard into the latest ‘must see’ feature at the award winning Mean Fiddler Hotel.
